Is CommentCamp available yet?

We’re building CommentCamp and gathering our first communities. Join early access and we’ll email you when there’s a place for your site. No payment or commitment required.

Will it work with my website?

We’re starting with a WordPress plugin and a universal embed for other websites. The plan is to let your existing site members join the conversation without creating another account.

Do I have to use levels, quests, or Q&A?

No. Start with the kind of community you want, then choose your features. Keep things simple with comments and replies, or add accepted answers, reactions, levels, quests, and rewards. Your community sets the tone.

How can the owner platform be free?

Our model is funded by optional member Pro: profile customization, cosmetics, and eligible XP boosts across communities. Hosting, discussions, moderation, and ordinary participation stay free. Owners don’t need a paid plan, and members don’t need Pro to take part.

Can I bring my existing comments? And take them with me?

WordPress comment imports, exports, and an optional local comment mirror are part of the plan. We’re building the migration and exit path alongside the plugin, so your conversations don’t become a reason you can’t leave.

Do members carry their reputation everywhere?

No. Local levels and reputation belong to each community. Optional global achievements reflect a member’s wider journey, but never grant expertise, moderation powers, or priority in your community.
